Serenity Now has been completely refreshed with all new flooring, paint, and decor. This little gem is the perfect getaway from the fast pace of everyday life. Why stay at a hotel when you can have an entire house! Fully equipped kitchen, Gas fireplace, wifi, screened porch with gas fireplace, dining area, games, books, and all the amenities of home. (linens are provided) The flat screen TV in the living room is equipped with DVD Player, and Roku so make sure you bring your streaming log in's and passwords!

This house is located in Powder Horn Mountain in Deep Gap, NC. (Gated! Make sure your screen shot your gate code and your house access code before you arrive!) GPS is not always reliable so print directions prior to leaving and we also recommend turning on Wifi calling prior to getting to the mountain. We are about 25 mins to Appalachian State University and Main Street in Boone but only about 13 miles. We are about 18 -25 miles to all the ski resorts or about 35 to 45mins. Blowing Rock and Banner Elk are each about 35-45 mins from our front gate. The Blue Ridge Parkway is about 7 miles away with an access point at the top of Elk Creek Rd on old 421. The closest grocery store is Food Lion located at the intersection of 421 and Old 421 across from Tractor Supply. (Get groceries before you arrive!) There is RV camping and horseback riding near by at Leatherwood Mountain Resort. Elk Creek is just outside the front gate of Powder Horn and is a state stocked trout stream this is an anglers paradise make sure you get your fishing license, you will find it is some of the best fishing around! Local wineries and breweries abound including Appalachian Mountain Brewery, Boonshine Brewing, Grandfather Vineyards, Banner Elk Winery and so many others. So much to do!!!! Make sure to also check out the Lil' Hidden Creek Gem mine located about 1 mile past the back gate of Powder Horn. Call ahead and they will get mining buckets ready for the little ones! Within the gates of Powder Horn is its own little community! There are three ponds, a campground on the river, horseshoe pits, grills, and fire circles, Clubhouse, fitness center, community pool (open may through sept), game room (pool table, foosball, ping pong), playground, tennis court, half basketball court, chapel and miles upon miles of awesome hiking trails right out your front door!
