Fantastic cabin!
Powder Horn is one of my favorite places, and this cabin offers everything needed for a comfortable vacation. We have stayed in the mountain 6 times, and each cabin is perfect; however this one offered handicap access for my mother! I’ll definitely stay here again!

Wonderful cabin
We had an amazing time at Peace on Birch. The cabin was really clean and comfortable. There are a lot of nice little touches that made the stay so cozy and enjoyable for our family. There is a lot to do in the gated community (trails, pool, boats, game room, fishing). Also a short drive to Blowing Rock. We will definitely stay here again!

Quiet Cabin in the Woods
Great place to stay, especially if you want something in a quiet, slightly remote area. Plenty of space, nice home, VERY clean, great cabin environment to unwind. The back screened porch was our FAVORITE thing with the propane firepit. We relaxed there for hours!

Perfect for a weekend getaway
We absolutely loved this property. They have thought of everything that is needed to provide a home away from home. Everything was clean, spacious and the owner was responsive. We loved the hot tub and the screened in porch. The community is also very beautiful with a huge clubhouse and beautiful lakes.

Peace on Birch is Absolutely Peaceful
We selected Peace on Birch for a Thanksgiving in the mountains with a side trip to watch our college team play Appalachian State in Boone. It was a delightful stay. The kitchen is well equipped even though we brought a few extra pans for our large Thanksgiving meal. The Christmas decor in the home was a nice touch. While we had some challenges during our stay, the pros definitely outweighed the cons and Susan quickly addressed any issues we had when contacted. Everything in the cabin is well labeled and the information is plentiful. We did see a few deer and while we didn't explore much of the surrounding resort property we did see several people out walking about. If we return to the area, we would definitely consider staying again.

Can’t Wait to Come Back
Don’t hesitate to rent this cabin - clean, well appointed, comfortable - this place has it all.

Our 15 year old video game obsessed son says this is his favorite place he’s ever stayed, and one day here will show you why.

Hiking trails are everywhere. You’re a short drive from downtown Boone. Deer and turkeys will wonder through your yard. Cook your own meals in the kitchen that’s nicer than the one we have at home. Play board games into the night, or swim at the clubhouse, or fly fish in the creek. This place is fantastic, and my crew cannot wait to come back!
