Moonlight Ridge - Powder Horn Mountain

Love this cabin and Susan Chaney! In my opinion, this is one of the best captains that I’ve ever stayed at. Had a great time in the mountains and look forward to coming back.

This hone was beautiful and very clean. My family and I spent our Thanksgiving Dinner in this cabin. There was plenty of room, the kitchen had everything we needed and the decor was beautiful. The views and being at the top of the mountain were wonderful. I would recommend this home if you want to get away, yet close enough to visit Boone and Bliwing Rock!

The house was everything that it was suppose to be! Well maintained beautiful wood work. The community was a let down for us, as we booked that location for the ease of eve amenities. The pool is not heated it’s freezing, the paddle boats were all broken and kayak were tied up, not for rental use. The club house the one person in the club house was so rude when I was just sitting in there to get out of the heat for five mins. Said I couldn’t be in there. When clearly in the rental it is said that we have use of clubhouse and all. For this reason I would not book again but for the house it was amazing!

We loved staying in this lovely home with gorgeous views. We loved the community as well. It was nice to have so much nature right at your doorstep. The house was clean and comfortable. Awesome stay!

I rented this house for a scrabooking getaway for a total of 7 ladies and our supplies. We had plenty of room as the downstairs was spacious and had tons of natural light. The house was fully stocked with all of the necessities that we needed. Cleanliness was exceptional. The views from the deck and covered porch were amazing and relaxing. If I could give this house more than 5 stars I would! I highly recommend this house to anyone - you won't be disappointed!

Cabin was better than advertised. Location was good. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. View was outstanding and easy access into cabin. Internet and tv worked well. Our host Susan was easy to work with and did a great job.

We LOVED our long weekend at Moonlight Ridge. The cabin was super clean, the view was lovely, and the inside comfy and cozy. Beds were nice and kitchen well stocked. We ordered firewood and had a nice few evenings at the fire pit. The enclosed porch was my favorite place to sit and read. Wifi worked well- even with multiple devices. We love the amenities of Powder Horn Mountain and the kids loved the rock panning just down the road. Highly recommend Moonlight Ridge AND Moonlight Cabin Rentals.

This place is amazing especially if you want to unplug. The home is literally on the top of the mountain surrounded by trees. It’s very peaceful and a great place to go and unwind. There’s literally a trailhead right down the road from the home too. The home is fabulous it’s equipped with everything you need. My suggestion is stop at a grocery store prior to arrival you will not want to leave the property once you are there. My favorite part was the screened in porch overlooking the majestic views. I highly recommend this home we enjoyed it so much we are going back in 3 weeks.

Perfect house for our celebration. Great porch for morning coffee. Picnic table for lunches. Nice area for walking our dogs.
Well equipped kitchen and nice gathering space with large table and lots of windows. Felt like we were in a tree house.
Hiked many trails and enjoyed the pool afterwards.

We had a great time staying in Moonlight Ridge. The house was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Our favorite parts were the view and screeened in porch. We enjoyed hiking and fishing in the neighborhood.

Fantastic home on a private mountain community. We loved hanging out in the screened-in porch and enjoying the beautiful view of the valley. The house has everything you need to cook, store wine, and comfortably hang out with family or friends. The community also has a lot of great walking and hiking trails.
