We had the best weekend! This house is beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and the views at the house, plus the nearby towns. I would recommend it to anyone.

Such a beautiful cabin tucked in the middle of the woods next to a lake! The house was very clean and smelled so fresh! It had everything we needed for the perfect weekend getaway! The hot tub was fabulous. The fireplace was wonderful and the beds were so comfortable! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up a gourmet meal. Very clean cabin that felt new. Was nicely decorated and even had an Easter basket waiting on us. Hot tub worked well. Loved riding down to the campground to hang out for the day.

Our long weekend on Powder Horn was fantastic! Relaxing by the fire or in the hot tub, Little Hare Hideaway was the perfect spot for our getaway. The house is gorgeous and spacious--perfect for a family or a large group of friends wanting a relaxing getaway. The community is also exceptional. A few of us enjoyed the local hiking trails, too. I would recommend this property to anyone, as well as Moonlight Cabin. Susan was exceptional and friendly in response to any and all questions we had.

Wow what a great cabin! Very well stocked, clean, and comfortable beds. This cabin has it all. Great community as well, very walk-able and within 30 minutes of just about anything you want or need. Beautiful scenery. I don't view this as a negative, but you should be aware you aren't getting cell signal until you get out of the valley unless you are connected to the cabin's WIFI. For me it was a bonus.

Little Hare Hideaway was absolutely pristine, clean, beautiful and with all the amenities of home. Relaxing, and comfortable. Beautiful views and wildlife sightings. Highly recommend Moonlight Cabins rentals as well.

We celebrated two birthdays at this beautiful home. We only left one time to get groceries because this cabin had it all! We brought our 15 month old granddaughter and there was already a highchair and pack and play there. Our 2 pups felt right at home too. Our favorite thing was the hot tub and we spent lots of time there. We missed having a fire pit because of the fire ban, but we will be back! This is one of our favorite neighborhoods and this cabin was top notch!

Had the best week with all of our kids at Little Hare Hideaway !! This place is awesome ! Plenty of space for 8 adults , and lots of things to do together for quality time ! Spent every afternoon on the deck playing games and enjoying the hot tub . The beds were super comfy and the bedding was top notch ! We had everything we needed for a great vacation! We were all sad to leave !

Lovely house. Very comfortable. Also great soundproofing as one of the other houses nearby was getting roofing done and you couldn’t hear it in the house. Thought the bunnies in the decorations were cute. The community was nice. Loved the trails! The waterfall trails were absolutely gorgeous We were a group of adults (and dog) so the amount of beds was great. Especially nice that even though some of the beds were bunk beds, they were full size so we didn’t have to cram an adult into a twin. Okay he dog accommodations were nice (the dog bowls, the leash, the baby gate on the porch). Apparently renters aren’t supposed to use the fire pit but you can go use one of the campsites. We didn’t bother so I can’t say how the campsite is, we just used the propane grill as it was more simple. There was a nice little care package with hot chocolate and s’mores supplies when we arrived. Also there was a hot tub which was great!

The house was thoughtfully appointed and had everything we expected and more. Perfect for our family gathering. The only thing I would mention is that there is a good bit of run-off at the bottom of the entrance stairs, creating a very high step off. BTW, Deep Gap is not in the District of Columbia!

The cabin was more than we ever expected! Pictures definitely don’t compare to the relaxed and oasis feel you get when walking in the door. There were thoughtful gifts throughout the cabin, and they thought of everything. I loved the little things like the labels on the cupboards and having all essentials stocked!! We will definitely be booking again! Thank you so much!

Family get together was enhanced by staying at this comfortable, clean, well-appointed, and lovely cabin. We also enjoyed the hiking, community pool and game room, and paddle boats. The staff and neighbors couldn’t have been nicer!

Super comfortable, roomy & clean. Great base camp for our treks into the woods for hiking. Loved all the extra touches the owners provided & really appreciated the nice interiors. Delightful visits from deer & wild turkeys. The WiFi was spotty. Dish TV was fine. Bring your own firewood. And make sure the grill grease pan is clean. We had a grease fire our first night grilling. It’s a challenge backing up the gravel driveway as suggested- but doable. Bug spray in the summer is a good idea for sitting on the porch. We didn’t have time for the pool but the kids tried ping pong in the community center basement - no AC so it was hot. Boats at the community pond were not clean. About 25 mins from Boone where you can find most everything you need. If you hike you must do the Rough Ridge trail off the parkway. Views are spectacular.

We had an amazing stay. The cabin is beautiful inside and out. It is well appointed with anything you may need and the mattresses were SO comfortable. We hiked, fished, swam at the pool and the kids found a swimming hole - we never even needed to leave the community!! Everyone we spoke to was extremely nice. We can't wait to come back!!

We loved our stay. It was very well appointed and clean. It has a great deck and very spacious. The only issue we had was the grill grease tray had not been been cleaned out which made the grill flame up and splatter grease everywhere.

Such a cute cabin! We really loved the little touches and we appreciated the cleanliness of the cabin. It was a wonderful spot for a family getaway. The only complaint was the lack of internet/cell service. We could use the TV but our cellphones were not able to send/receive emails/texts

The property was beautiful the location was great. There were flies in the house and the front door wouldn’t always lock, it seemed temperature dependent (thermal expansion). Most everything else seemed clean.

We chose little hare for a low key socially distant vacation. It was one of our best vacations. The house is amazing. We loved the location. In the woods, off the grid but not too far when we wanted to venture out. Took our fur babies too. The house was clean and beautiful. Also one of the nicest homes we’ve rented. We’d definitely rent again.

The home has everything and more than we expected. It was very comfortable from all of the personal touches. We absolutely loved feeding the deer that came right up to the house. It will be something that we do not forget we will definitely be back!

Perfect rental. Spectacular property and overwhelmed by the thoughtful amenities and decor. Cabin in the woods complete with deer, turkey and squirrels, great location with proximity to Boone.
