Welcome to LAKIN' IT EASY ! This log cabin is one of the very few waterfront vacation rentals in the high country. Main level has 1 bedroom with QUEEN bed/Flat Screen TV, and Full pull out couch, shared full bath, fully stocked kitchen including all full size appliances and an abundance of kitchen gadgets and small appliances including Cuisinart Mixer, Keurig coffee maker and regular drip, toaster and more. Luxury dining room area that overlooks the lake and a living room area with two separate niches one for TV watching and one for enjoying the fire. Main level also includes access to walkout full deck overlooking pond and plenty of seating for you and your guests. Upper level master with KING and private full bath, shower only, shower has multiple shower heads, 2 wands, and rain shower heads from above. There is also a small loft with extra seating and a desk with screen and printer on upper level. Basement has full bath with walk-in shower tub combo also doubles as steam shower, tub. 2 sets of bunk beds in lower bedroom one is full over full one is twin over full. (See pictures) Laundry is on the lower level in a mud room off the back deck as well as the game room with air hockey,fooseball,pacman machine and various games for your friends and family to enjoy. Lower level also has the movie area complete with massive flat screen TV and surround sound to really amp up the experience! Flat screen TV's on main floor family room, master suite, main floor bedroom and lower game room/movie room. House has a Skybest high-speed internet. PacNPlay available, please bring your own sheets.
Guests have access to the community amenities including swimming pool, fitness center,(walking distance) clubhouse (game room with pool table), tennis court, paddle boats, three ponds for fishing, campground, hiking trails,playground, chapel and more! Perfect location for all area events from North Wilkesboro and Merle Fest to Blowing Rock for the always delightful concerts in the park! Appalachian University is just up the road about 10 miles along with the all the shopping, restaurants, local artisans, the sites and sounds of King St in Boone. Local ski resorts include App Ski Mountain, Sugar Mtn, Beech Mtn. Visit Hawks Nest for some zip lining or grab those yummy snacks and sit by the river with a glass of wine from one of our favorite places, Grandfather Vineyards. Local breweries are plentiful, some of our favorites include AMB, Booneshine, and Molly Chompers. Go gem mining for your next ruby or emerald and then take the family and friends to Tweetsie for some western wranglin' fun! Linens are provided at the house for all guests. 4 Wheel drive is not necessary for this property. Gravel driveway Gas fireplace, Gas grill. Two kayaks available for use at the house. Please put in where the paddle boats are and do not remove from the community. Life jackets are available at the pier. Queen size blow up mattress in basement with full set of linens. This house does not have a hot tub it has a jetted tub in the basement bathroom. Please note that in pictures!
